Comments (3)I'd say, that home is where the heart is. When I was traveling on business and I'd be gone for up to 5 days a week. I brought a photo of the family to whatever hotel/motel room I was staying in. But it did not make the room a "home". Comments (6)I found Empress Wu at a local nursery last year for $15.99 that had 8 or 9 eyes. I am tending toward the thicker blinds. I wonder what the bamboo would be like though...do you have any curtains or valances in addition to your 1" basswood blinds? We would want to keep everything simple but downstairs I think maybe having a simple drape over the blinds might be a nice look, with a little more texture in the room. Would love to hear more thoughts! Amy...See MoreWhat a difference a half day makes!
