I know 6 years later and I'm buzzing in. Well, this just happened to my tomatoes and I'm no gardening pro! But, I saw some tiny poop that had me wondering who it belonged too. I thought maybe my tomatoes were getting too much sun and thats why its was turning colors but I did some googling. I found out, I had a Catapillar living and eating my plant! I sat down and stared at my tomato plant wondering if I would find this mystery Catapillar and then all the sudden right in front of my face there he was, about the size of my finger, but blended in so perfectly to look like a leaf. After posting this discovery on fb. all my gardening pros warned me that he would kill my plant totally and move on to the others. As well as lay larve. Yuck! Well, upon looking at your photos I think I found his cousin hanging out in your photo!! The close up was the one in my garden. So you can see it better. It's a tomato horn... Yours may be in a different family. But it's a catipiller!

Also in S. California, similar problem. I cant really find anything that matches it in the online diagnostics. The leaves and stems get kind of a faint dusting of yellow/brown and then the leaves just die. No noticeable spots/holes, the leaf is alive one day, then dead the next.

Hello all, I'm in Brisbane and over the last couple of months this young Euodia has developed a problem with it's leaves and green stems. It's been a fairly wet summer and the soil is a bit clayey where it's planted but well dug out. I actually moved this plant, about 10 months ago, a couple of metres as I had planted it too close to another tree. Thank you for your suggestions on what this might be that is deforming the leaves and stems. I'm guessing a fungus?

There's a significant difference with the Pink Brandywine: These seeds were started the same day (3 1/2 weeks ago) and have been under the same grow light. The ones in the white cups are in the peat pellet medium. The others were transplanted more recently so it's possible they are just in a bit of shock and will catch up. Orange Roussollini tomato: I have to admit the ones in the square containers seem to have grown a bit more overnight since I first thought up this question. Two days ago they were noticeably smaller than the ones in the cups. These were started 3 1/2 weeks ago as well. Same grow light.
