Comments (27)Thanks for the nice comments, everyone! I'm always happy to show my baskets and talk about basket weaving. :O) I'm currently teaching myself to weave with homegrown willow. It's a b*tch! but so worth every moment of the struggle. nicole, get the 'Pine Needle Basketry' book by Judy Mallow from your local library or amazon/ebay/half.com! It is the best resource available that teaches how to do pine needle basketry. Baskets as art. I like that! :) This post was edited by party_music50 on Wed, Aug 20, 14 at 9:45...See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Mon Jan 18
Comments (10)The King family refused to allow use of his "likeness" without payment of what I think wound up as a 6 figure licensing fee. It was a case of outrageous greed. She sure was happy that day. (he doesn't have a moustache, although it looks like he does.) It'll be 5 years this summer that Mom died, she'd have turned 80 this past Feb. Hard to believe....See MoreI'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Mon May 30
Comments (12)I've been off work since last Wednesday finishing projects around the house. Spent this weekend cleaning all weekend (not just clean, but using the steam cleaner on my hands and knees scrubbing the floors kind of cleaning). I've been buying and preparing food. All that was left? To put the just cooked pie on the counter. sigh. At least there was time enough to make another before guests came. The pot holder sits where I threw it down....See More- 11 years ago
