Although I am very uncomfortable, I wouldn't exactly say I am in pain. I do know I don't like what I am feeling. It remains to be seen if I like the results. Right now, I am just the opposite of what I was. More closed lid and higher eyebrowed on the right as opposed to the left.

Oh, oxalis is murraysmom! In some areas there are hills with flows of brilliant yellow flowers. Forever. Unfortunately, there is no eradicating that stuff. Your photo is mahonia, isn't it? That used to be more commonly planted here quite a few decades ago. It fell out of trend, but I have been seeing it offered for sale more frequently at nurseries here lately. I always laugh when they "reintroduce" as if it is something newly discovered. lol I've always liked how their yellow flowers would brighten the shady corners of the garden.

Welcome back. What a great story behind your Tulip Festival. I think seeing tremendous numbers of tulips is quite thrilling. The colors are so amazing!! Here is my tulip contribution. Some yellow tulips I got for my birthday one year. Another advantage to having an April birthday!! :)
