How long does it take for a Sugar Maple Tree to grow?

I purchased 2 Sugar Maple Tree (SMT) saplings. They're about 1' 6" to 2' (roughly) in height.

I was wondering if anybody could shed some light on a healthy SMT's rate of growth. For example, if the saplings are 2' right now, how tall/high should they be next year? Provided that they're healthy, of course.

My understanding is that they are very slow growers.

I'm not overly concerned about when they reach full maturity, but I'm just wondering when they'll reach at least 6' - 7'.

Any ideas?
