Wandering wife

Wife left out last night about 12:30am. Neighbor brang her home at 1:25am. #2 SS suggested installing a wireless sentry, Good idea.

Fired with enthusiasm I goed Horror Fright to look at Wireless sentries. After careful deliberation I bot model 93608 - the only one they had. Needed 2 got 3- what the hell.

Then I goed Battery shop next to Target since they had super batteries better than copper top and I had to pick up meds at Walmart anyway. The man was busy with a customer so I waited. Another customer come in and stepped right in ahead of me. Damn. Oh well, so I looked around and 2 more customers come in and thence were ahead of me. Damn. About then the original customer came back in with a problem. Clerk took to his workbench to fix it - Damn- back to square 4. What prices I saw didn’t look that good plus I could feel a P coming on. Old man, small tank, weak valve, screw this.

Off to Walmart to a rest room (first things first) thence to the med counter - 12 people in line. Screw that. Thence to the battery counter (nearly out). Well I needed 9 C batteries but they come in sets of 4. Damn. Needed 3 -9volt batts. Come in sets of 2. Damn again. So I come home light on C bats heavy on 9v batts.

Next assemble em. Barely got the battery pkg open with a pair of heavy duty tin shears. In with the C batts. Not so fast. I bot D batts. Musta lookt at the C’s and grabbed the D’s. Off to Rite Aid for some C’s.

Now for the 9 volters. Well I had a couple unused might as well use em up. Never mind the bulge on the bottom of one of em. Check the date. Damn. Good till 2012. Check em with the meter. Nope. NG.

Now to mount them up. First unit had no screws provided. Damn. Need 1. Luckily I had a bunch the exact right size so that hurdle got hurdled. Next unit had 6 mounting screws. Shoulda opened that one first. Damn. Scared to open the third.

Anyway got 2 mounted up and tested. If that screeching MF’er goes off in my ear at night I’ll probly float up off the floor and run in circles.
