Thanks, murraysmom. It's nerve wracking at times being the Dad, but he enjoys the physical challenge, the excellent pay, and a chance to spend a lot of time in the wilderness. He's done it for 5 seasons and will be heading out again in just a few weeks.He tells me every life counts. Ron

FANTASTIC shot, Nicole!!!!! We only have ruby-throated hummers here. I always worry when we get bad weather after I've seen them return, but I guess they know what they're doing. They usually show up sometime around May 10, so I try to have my feeders out in early May. I haven't a clue when they might return this year because we're so far behind on the weather.

At a horse show this past weekend, after all the normal jumping classes, they had a few just-for-fun competitions. One of these "fun" classes was the egg and spoon class, where riders have to carry an egg in a spoon while walking, trotting, cantering and even jumping crossrails.

Alisande, perhaps if she was bearing cookies you would let her in. My granddog came by this morning with these. I did let her in. lol
