Teal Subway tile - In Canada?

I am having a really hard time finding subway tile with variations in hue in canada. I love the tile available at fireclay tile but with the exchange right now it's too pricey to order from the states. Does anyone know of anything similar in canada? This image isn't fireclay tile but again a tile with variations.. looking for our kitchen basksplash. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Close to Calgary is best.

I'm not in Canada, but was looking for a turquoise subway tile and did not have any luck until I came across a shop that offers custom made tiles. It takes 6 to 8 weeks but I am getting exactly what I want. My tile should be ready soon. Once I get my backsplash installed I will post a picture. Perhaps, there is a shop that offers hand made tile in Canada. Good luck!

I know the dollar is horrible right now ( as I'm thinking of all the US $ I should have bought when it was at par!) I'm by Wpg, and I did just order some fireclay samples. It's $15 shipping from there to Canada (luckily we're on vacation in the US right now and are getting them shipped here). Even though the $ is poor, it might be worth checking out some samples to see if you even like them or if they'll go. Might be worth the exchange to prevent yourself from going crazy looking for teal tile in Canada!

I think a dark espresso color would make a beautiful contrast to the white subway tile. We are doing our MB with white subway tile and blue/green accent tiles, too. I was tempted to do dark cabinetry, but ultimately decided to go white. The main reason for my decision was the fact that all of the cabinetry is on one side of the room. What size are you looking for? I wanted Misty Blue limestone and got it from CompleteTile.com - they custom cut and beveled the edges at a very reasonable price. I ordered 4 x 12, cut from a 12 x 12 tile and beveled. The problem was that the stone chipped and had marks on it from the machine they used. I had a lot of waste, but they made good and sent me extra to finish the job. I love my tile, but it is not easy to cut the some types of stone down to smaller sizes. Just saying that if you get it custom cut you may have a lot of waste.

We just put up our BS -- 2x4 " white subs -- on Sunday. Not grouted yet but will be gray as the tile on the floor. There is a lot going on in this kitchen and this tile looks best, IMHO. It is a farmhouse; new build. Gray quartzite and leathered black granite CT. I have never liked most BS as it seems to me to be the first thing in a kitchen to date it and distract. The scale of the smaller tile seems good enough here. Just because it is something that has been "done" over and over doesn't mean it's not the best thing for your kitchen. It was what I originally planned for this house going back about 10 years - just now getting the house finished. It's been a four year build :(

You could even direct the new owners to this thread after all the paperwork is signed! @Kim T., that (above) is a great, creative idea! In our area, buyers expect not just "move in ready" homes, but picture perfect. Thus, all three realtor buddies of mine say just get a white backsplash up there and move on. (I am going to get more colorful with our powder room, at least!) :) @Cynthia, thanks, that's a good one. I'm 30 mins from MSI headquarters, so I'll check it out. BTW, I was also calling undulated but got odd looks from a couple tile sellers when I said it, lol!
