When I bought my oven Masterchef was included. There was no option. I've used it twice in 8 years and could easily do without it. However, I've read posts from people who were buying the oven for Masterchef. It works well if you don't know how to cook, or aren't sure or don't want to bother. If the oven doesn't have it then attention really must be paid to learning the way the various combination heat settings work and which to use for what since this is European convection. Example: one of my favorite settings -- autoroast -- is a cold-oven setting. By that I mean no preheat is required. The food is started in a cold oven then both the broiler and oven element are engaged to sear and bring the oven up to temperature. Autoroast isn't suitable for a souffle. But it's great for roasting poultry, meat or veggies -- and terrific for Thanksgiving turkey which is heavy and cumbersome to put into a preheated oven. Learning the oven is well worth it IMO but the alternative to figuring it out is Masterchef settings. Depends on your needs.

Yes, I agree. I always blade my tape down - twice, then seal it. That is a very important step! I think the two roller idea is to get better coverage and to minimize the horizontal brush lines at the ceiling which reflect light differently than the rolled surfaces. With that mini-koter roller along the top and bottom, you get better coverage than with a brush and can get tight along the tape. They're only using the brush for the 1/2" along the tape surface. But if I were doing the job alone, I couldn't keep up with the two rollers-brush-climbing up and down from a step stool quickly enough. I'd still cut everything, then roll.

My guys always find Dos Eguis in the ice chest at the end of the day, they really appreciate that! I also keep the chest full of sodas and water all day....

+1. No expectation, certainly no obligation. They aren't food service employees or something along those lines, so they are not depending on it. The vast majority of people do not tip, and that's okay... It's like anything else in life, when you treat someone well, you are more likely to get that in return. The law of reciprocity :) That's why if it is a consideration, I'd recommend it halfway into the job or even earlier. Like WoW said, $20 worth of pizza and cola goes a long way, and is a pretty minor expense on a purchase of this magnitude. Having been their myself, I personally tip any service professional that I have in my home.
