Your guess on these seedlings, please.

I planted an 'Eagles Claw' (green dissectum) underneath a large 'Fireglow' (red palmatum) a few years ago. A couple of seedlings popped up last Spring underneath the 'Fireglow'; now there are at least a dozen more. They look like a cross between the two. The one in the pot is one-year-old, and obviously a very slow grower. They are growing in mulch on top of landscape fabric, so I must pot them within a few days. I know it's awfully early for a positive ID, but am curious as to what others think these are. I have 15+ different JM's on my property, but haven't noticed seedlings before, other than slight variations of the "green" ones.

Thanks for any advice!

Nelson
