I have pointed out several glitches to them. In addition to the whole annoying sideways photo thing, I've found that links I post move or disappear completely after I hit submit. Then I need to go back in and do it again. If you highlight and try to delete it wants to leave the page. It's an adaptation, not the original forum set up that was popular before. The one piece of information I was given after several complaints is that Houzz is optimized for the Google Chrome browser. If you use Chrome here photos post properly and the links don't disappear. I use Chrome for 1 or two things because it is rapacious about tracking every single thing someone does. Then Google collects and profits from the information and your privacy is invaded more than it usually is by Firefox or even IE. Ipads use Safari. You'd think a design site would be optimized for that and mobile but on mobile the site isn't scalable. Houzz should address this. They've been told. They don't seem to care.

Sometimes I have problems posting pictures also. The app is slow uploading. Pictures that appear to be sideways somehow fix themselves after I have finished editing. I have double pictures in idea books that I have to delete. Crazy but like they say patience is a virtue.

The reason it's sideways generally is because you took it sideways (turned the camera, phone or tablet to get a better photo). (I'm using the word. "somehow" because I don't know how or why it works like it does.) When we were all using cameras, there was no problem. Somehow, whether you turned the camera didn't make any difference - all the photos posted online were upright. Then came the tablet. Again, somehow, it didn't know which was the right side up, so when you posted a photo taken by turning the tablet, they were sideways (drove me nuts that people would post those photos and refused to take the time to turn them). Now, the websites seem to have developed a way to compensate for that "sideways" photo. I haven't figured out why it doesn't always work correctly or show on the web like it does on my computer. The problem with Houzz (or me) right now is that I can't figure out to delete a photo when it shows up sideways. I wish I understood it better. bkay

I do that but I have no open option just photos or done. When I click on done it knocks me off Gardenweb:(
