Waiting on his master to return. I told him he was on the phone, and he perked right up! I guess he wanted to talk to him. That's his toy mouse on the floor. He talks to me about killing it. In the middle of the night.

My Chickie Girls are getting too creative! I know to check the free standing hay feeder but this is what I found today. So far there have been no broken eggs even though the horses have access to everything. You have to give them credit; they put the hay in there and made their own nest. There's a wall feeder right next to this bucket so they didn't have to go far for the hay. I know to check the wall feeders for eggs and now I have to check the buckets!

I don't know how many girls are using this bucket. This is probably 2 days worth. It's been cool enough here that I will use these eggs myself. In fact, ate one already.

Seen on my walk around the living room yesterday. :)

"I'mhappy" on the weekend we watch a vet program. He was called to look at a boa constrictor who had swallowed a huge marble egg. They put the fake egg in the nest to encourage the hens to lay there.
