My wife went to a horse show over the weekend that required her to braid her horse's mane. After the show she took out the braids, and Camden looked all curly like he had just been to the beauty parlor.

I feel pretty. Oh so pretty.

Yesterday I posted a pic of a Ruby Throat Hummingbird. Today the pic is of a Ruby Throat's nest and tiny pea sized eggs held n my hand. I have posted it before, but some of you may not have seen it. The nest was abandoned. Momma bird must have met with disaster.

Just finished puzzle, a dual effort with DH who is trying to be 'good' after his recent heart cath. This is a 3D puzzle ( I know you can't see the depth of the picture here) it drove our eyes bonkers working on it.

My horse, Teddy, from last summer. The snow and ice are finally gone and spring is definitely in the air!!! I am so happy!!!

Prairie rose, Teddy is the sweetest horse ever. He will be 27 on May 20! Can you share a picture of Cheeta??

Bob, Camden is a beautiful horse!! His curly locks are adorable. :)

Casey, love your horse with a coat that matches the barn. I so wish that a nearby horse boarding place would use coats on the ones that are out in all kinds of ugly weather.

Murraysmom, your Teddy brought back memories of a look alike horse named Patches that I looked after when my childhood best friend and her family went away. That was about 60 years ago. I loved that horse, but hated the job because I was always afraid that something would go wrong while I was in charge.

Nicole, yes, that is a fascinating picture. Nice of those Cranes to pose for you.

I've got a zebra ... well, sort of. At the fall horse show there was a costume contest class.
My wife painted one of her horses as a zebra:

What a lot of work to paint the horses, but very fun. Cannot imagine how they did it. Must have been hours of work. Wonderful pictures, everyone. Thanks, Bob....I'll be hummin' "I Feel Pretty" all day! LOL....

It actually only took her about 45 minutes total for both horses. My job was to hold up a picture of a zebra and later a picture of a giraffe, so she'd know where to put the white stripes.

kittywhiskers, interesting puzzle....I see a couple missing pieces. Really makes me crazy when that happens. That is why I don't buy puzzles in boxes that have been opened. Not a guarantee of course. I have had two new sealed in the box puzzles with missing pieces.

I love it!!! The horses don't seem that interested but the hens are wanting you to feed them. lol
