Sunrise yesterday through the Chinook clouds. And did we get a chinook wind after the sun rose. Around 80 km/hour.

Comments (9)Well, I am glad you were able to get back in, and pot your picture after all. I was hoping, getting the tread going would help. The pop bottle is just a bit east of Edmond Oklahoma, near the round barn in Arcadia. The place is called Pops. They sell pop from all over the world, have a diner, and gas station. Comments (9)That reminds me of this picture of the waterfront area of Constance, Germany. The giant statue in the harbor, was commissioned from a famous local artist, who agreed on the condition that he could make whatever he wanted and the town couldn't see it until it was finished and installed. He made this statue of a scantily clad woman holding two wizened, shriveled figures in the palms of her hands. One represents the king or emperor and the other represents the pope. Comments (14)Got up @ 2am Saturday morning so we could drive 3.5hrs to the crane festival and shoot the sunrise. This is when the birds cross over from standing in water to avoid being eaten by predators at night....to crossing over to farmers fields to eat grain....See More

This is me a few years ago in the Smokey Mountains. Wish I could say the horse was mine, but no rented for a 6 hour ride. Was wonderful!!!

All that remains from a sugar plantation on St. Kitts. Most of the sugar processing has ceased on the leeward islands.
