Pearl -- when I did a search for the model you listed, nothing comes up. Most of the Kraus faucets start with "16", but there isn't a 1662 or 1626 model -- My current plan is for the 1612 -- seems to have gotten good reviews at expressdecor and on overstock.

Just got a delta faucet that I really like. It's a bit more traditional looking than the one you are looking at, but it's super functional and easy to install, after de-installing the old one that is. They just added a new stainless steel color called Artic, which I choose and has less yellow than regular stainless. They still have regular stainless.

Check faucetdirect.com, too. We purchased all of our plumbing supplies for our kitchen remodel from them (2 sinks/faucets - grohe) and 3 bathrooms. I love my Grohe faucets that were around $400 give or take. Well worth the expense, IMO. ETA: I'd compromise on finish before I'd compromise on quality. We went with the Super Steel finish (dh wanted it) but would have saved a lot of money by going with chrome (which I kind of wanted - meaning his want was stronger).

I've had a Hansgrohe Talis C in my kitchen for 6 years, although I prefer the lines of the one you posted better. I paid about $500 for mine through a kitchen designer. The only problem I've ever had with it was last year it sprung a leak in the inner water line and had to replace it. Hansgrohe sent me the part for free and I replaced it myself. The action on my faucet is very smooth. The only thing I would look for in a new faucet is being able to have the lever in the front, rather than to the side. I'm right handed and often have something in my right hand and then have to cross over with my left, around the flow of water, to turn it off.
