Putting on music would be a BAD thing in my line of work!

Common regrets from high school?
- wasting money on a class ring
- not going to the prom
- not participating in sports or other team activities

One thing I like about shopping at Target is that it's quiet. No music. It's so nice, that I actually notice it often. It's really calming. Wish more stores were like this. I agree with you, Jasdip. Malls are the worst. It's very loud and not far removed from elevator music.

Not studying harder and getting more out of the education.

Going to the prom.

The Prom is not the big thing up here as it is in the States. But I will go with that answer as well.

Not participating in more activities.

My grocery store and hardware store play "the music of my life", lots of 70s and 80s, so I hum as I shop...and will pass by other people humming, too! But thank goodness my kids aren't into Abercrombie, we can't even walk past the store in the mall because of the music.

Not making and keeping friends.

I haven't been to a mall in YEARS! :) Music can be found playing just about anywhere and if it isn't the kind of music you like to hear it can be VERY annoying. We went out to dinner recently at what turned out to be a great place -- except for their HORRIBLE music! And it's always a bummer to have to suffer someone's music on the golf course. :(

I regret nothing in high school except not taking advantage of seminars, personnel positioned to help you understand financial aid, admissions, etc for university.

In service class at the hospital, we talked about things like music and happy upbeat people being wrong in some situations... like at a cancer clinic. So I get what you're saying party. It's not a one answer solution. That said, my office mate and I have the exact same taste in music. It was funny the first time he put turned it on, and then almost immediately turned it down. I said, aw, I was enjoying that song!
