How To Support Pepper Plants

Those who grow tomatoes know it that supporting the plant is very important. There are several ways to do that :

Staking

Caging

Trellising

Weaving

Stringing

... and some combination of above.

But tomatoes have different growth habit than peppers. The first grow like a vine, especially the indeterminat varieties. their stems are weaker and hollow and often cannot support the weight of foliage and the fruits. That is why supporing them is an essential part of growing them

But pepper have different growth habit and stem structure. They naturally (most of them) grow bushy like a tree not like a vine. So often they can stand up and support their fruits and foliage. But if they bear fruits heavily and the climate is windy and they grow tall, then they would also need to be supported. So that is why and what we would like to discuss in this thread: Now in this off season we can talk about subjects like this and prepare ourselves for the real GARDEN world.

HOW DO YOU SUPPORT YOUR PEPPER PLANTS ?

I'll let you to go first. LOL
