    It's wierd, but even though I don't like strawberries on their own they are a most flavorful addition to my daily green sludgies. They add something that really zings.

    I live in an area where strawberries are grown....we saw the fields being picked today.
    I love going down to the corner to buy freshly picked strawberries.
    I make lots of freezer jam.
    They are picking the big berries now but I like to wait a little longer and get the smaller, more tasty ones.
