HELP PLEASE New Dacor range to replace old DCS (Fisher Paykel) range?

princesspronoid

We moved into a house that has a 9 year old DCS by Fisher Paykel slide in range model RGT-366 (36", 6 burner, convection, 30,000 BTU)

The home systems are under warranty and the insurer determined that the unit has to be completely replaced as the igniter box is not working properly. The burners do not light consistently and the igniter often stays even when the burners are lit. Also, the front panel is slightly bent so the control knobs stick.

The warranty company has agreements with Sears, GE and Whirlpool so I assume that the replacement will be a Dacor from Sears (http://www.sears.com/dacor-renaissance-5.4-cu-ft-36inch-gas/p-02251962000P)

Should we replace the DCS with the Dacor or continue to use the DCS and cash out on the warranty?

Thanks
