I have no problem with the software, have actually found one, free but limited, only 36 pics. allowed, and it re-codes,formats,etc, and plays in our 2 DVD players, however would like one that allows more pics. and also don't know how long, I can use this one before they bug me to pay for full version.. so figured someone here knew of a total free one? this one also erases or formats and writes over a DVD-RW, has very kewl transitions too, seems ashame to burn 15 mins. on a 2 hr. DVD..wish they made shorter length DVD's??

You can copy all your files, photos, wallpaper and settings to you new computer by using Easy file transfer. All you need is a flash drive or external drive and do the following Click Start Click Control panel Click the small right facing arrow beside Control panel at the top in the address bar Click All Control panel items and the windows fills Click Getting started 4th down left side probably In the new window click Transfer files and settings from another computer and the screen shows a panel above In the bottom right corner of that panel click Open Windows Easy Transfer Click Next in the new window Click An external hard drive or flash drive at the bottom of the choices Click This is my new computer Click Yes in the new window and follow along It will then set the external drive up to accept all the stuff you need from the old machine and then prompt you to take the drive to the old computer to load the files.

I could be wrong but I don't think the duplicating emails was caused by a virus, just a glitch of some sort... but like I say, I don't really know. Perhaps someone else will.

I learned the basics of Irfanview in 2 hrs. - cropping, resizing, color adj. You can embed a title in a pic., change a .gif or .png to .jpg, change an image to grey tones, set up a slide show, blur/sharpen, and much more. And it's fast. If I have to clone I reluctantly use Photoshop Elements. When I compared the results of a photo sharpened with Elements with one by Irfanview, I preferred the Irfan. Photofiltre is also freeware.
