Oh, I just see that Robert Herjavec is on it this year!!!

Go Robert!!! Love him! He's Canadian (lives in Toronto) and is on Shark Tank.

I haven't watched DWTS for a few years, but I will have to now.

Just like with every other season, we must say goodbye as we welcome newcomers. Not returning for Dancing‘s 20th season are Karina Smirnoff and Cheryl Burke.

DWTS ratings for that night beat both those for American Idol and The Voice. They were all down from the previous season `but DWTS was down only a tiny bit and their ratings were quite a bit higher than the other shows. I don't agree with the criticism of the producers going on and on about Amy's disabilities. I think that with the Boston bombings, returning soldiers with amputees, childhood accidents it is very important that we do understand that disabilities don't have to limit people in what they do or define them. I think that Amy and her tenacity (plus having to have a kidney transplant as well) show us that the lives of amputees and those with other disabilities must be respected and accepted. I don't think that always happens. Now the season with Chastity - that I thought was gratuitous BS and I didn't watch it.

They're upset that Ryan lied about his "being held at gunpoint" story from Rio. They showed other views of what happened but I'm not sure their real intent. When security grabbed the one guy they bumped into Tom & Ryan. They weren't armed but it appeared they wanted to protest in front of the cameras. Crazy.

I haven't heard of quite a few too. Truth is, very popular stars can't commit to the rigorous schedule and possibly length of participation. Some go on as a lark and are just hoping to get eliminated early. I haven't watched in years. I don't especially like when they have the figure skaters, albeit the current ones (not so much retired) because they all usually have at least ballet training along with their figure skating lessons.

For dance performance, Jordan could have won on the first night! It was hard to tell that he wasn't a pro. Lindsey was just lovely and grew as a dancer. Frankie doesn't have a dancer's body or moves, and he's older than the other two, and he's what draws me to DWTS: he starts out excited but knowing he's at a deficit, is willing to take it on, takes advice, learns, and finally dances. Not at the same calibre as the others, but dances nonetheless. All three could have shared the title!

Haven't we seen enough of the Bachelor Chris Soules!!!!

Robert Herjavic is one of the millionaire sharks on Shark Tank. The very likeable one.

Tony always seems to get paired with the mature gals.

I am kind of surprised that Bruce and Demi's daughter Rumor will be on.

Not sure who a few of the others are. Will have to look them up.

I will agree with you, matti....I watch Shark Tank quite often and Robert Herjavic is always so kind and considerate....not like "Mr. Wonderful"! I hope Robert does very well...he will be fun to watch.

Oh my gosh Nastia Liukin is dancing! I know her personally and her family. She won medals in the Olympics in gymnastics. She is a wonderful girl. She lived very near me when I was in the Dallas area. We had a big parade for her. I knew she loved pink so I got a beautiful new pink Saab convertible from the dealership for her to ride in and for her to use for the week she would be home, she talked about it on the Jay Leno show . I have lots of pictures from the parade and of us together. I still have several of the water bottles we had made with her picture on them lol. I have not watched in years but will have to watch her. I bet she will be good with her gymnastics background.

I loved the last season, but this one, I doubt I will watch any.

I stopped watching for a while now. I used to "watch" with my sister who lives in another state. We could text back-and-forth our opinions what was happening so far.

But after a while it got boring. But, there are a few people that I might want to see such as Suzanne Somers, and Robert Herjavic. Not too excited about the rest of them though.

I think this is just one of those shows that I've already run its course is just hanging on.

Wow, Raven. That's exciting. I predict Derek and Nastia will win. I don't really care if the participants are well-known or not. I enjoy watching the contestants improve as the weeks go on so I will be watching. And yes, Derek will be dancing this year. Apparently he was able to work out his schedule with Radio 'City Music Hall so he can participate. Apparently Nastia is going to school at NYU and they will be practicing at Radio City Music Hall so it will all work out……or something to that effect.

I used to watch it all the time until the season that they had Chaz Bono on. For me, he was just used for gratuitous publicity that wasn't necessary.
