There's a sticker right inside the gas cap flap that says "premium recommended." I copied/pasted this info from cartalk.com: In a high-compression engine that's designed to run on premium fuel, premium will provide some additional power. But, if you want to save some money, you can probably still fill up with regular, unleaded fuel much of the time. An engine with a high compression ratio has some advantages. It squeezes more power of the same-size engine. But, it requires you to spend more for every tank of gas, to get that extra power. In other words, instead of manufacturing a car with a larger, but lower-compression-ratio engine, manufacturers are using high compression engines, and foisting the additional cost back to you - by forcing you to buy premium gas to get that extra performance. Using regular gas can cause knocking and pinging. They're noises, which are signs that the gas and air mixture in your car's cylinders isn't burning exactly as intended. The sound you hear is the result of the fuel and air mixture combusting unevenly in the cylinder. Pinging or knocking will reduce the efficiency of your engine and, over a very long period of time, it can cause damage.

newtosd, To achieve success treating problem water one gets the results of a comprehensive water test and THEN selects and sizes the equipment based on those results, plumbing requirements, and water usage... not the other way around. When treating well water it is ALWAYS advisable to have the water tested by a certified lab and not to rely on quickie water tests from Sears or a water softener company that won't be as accurate (and possibly not as competent) as from a certified independent lab. When you have the results of a comprehensive water test then we can speak intelligently to your water treatment needs. You'd also be wise to get at least two other water treatment companies in there to quote you. Make sure you include at least one local independent water treatment pro because Culligan may be over-selling you.

Thank you Tamara. I still can't find this actual thread (I lost it, haha), but I found this in my profile. That's good to know about search; hopefully I'll get used to it and it will be more useful than annoying. I'm not one who takes change well, and I admit I lost my temper a little yesterday, but I will try to be more patient. I found a thread that mentioned the "first name" trick, which is how I have Rosecandy displayed. Am I correct in believing that other users can see all the recent threads I looked at? If so is there a way to stop that? I like my privacy. ...and now I found the thread, *whew!*

Every time I edit it suggests different forums to cross post to. At first that bugged me but... I suppose that's a legitimate reason to edit. Post a topic, then realize it would have been good to include another forum.
