Japanese snowbell - anyone with experience growing in zone 5?

I'm looking for a tree for our front yard. Japanese snowbells seem to have the size I'm looking for, and I really love the look of this tree.

I can't find a great deal of info about it online, but one resource lists it as hardy to zone 6a. We're in London, Ontario. From what I can tell from hardiness zone maps and talking to local nurseries, we're probably in the 5b zone here. A nursery about an hour's drive south sells japanese snowbells.

I'm wondering if anyone out there has any experience growing this tree in a slightly cooler zone like 5b, or if in fact anyone has seen this tree in zone 5. Of course I'll talk to the folks at the nursery as well, but any advice I can find on the forum would be enormously appreciated!
