Alberta's first black "settler" and legendary cowboy, John Ware's cabin. The original homestead is about 10 miles west of where I am, but the cabin was moved and restored at Dinosaur Park and is open to the public during the summer.

caflowerluver, Love your truck we have a 55 Chevy fist series too bought in 1980 from the original owner. DH totally restored it still has the original motor. Just now getting it back together after fresh paint and upholstery. Love my truck have always had Chevy’s but bought a 42 ford 2 door sedan from a friend whose DH passed away last year and wanted to find good homes for his car collection.

I bought a new bag of grain-free cat food. I left it on the kitchen table and then went out for a while. I came back to find Roxie licking her lips (there wasn't any food out) and a hole in the bag. Apparently she approves. I give the cats kibble as treats, instead of buying specific treats.

Raven- they do eat my plants! I dont like it but at the same time I dont mind it, because I feel like I am the one who is really on their property. That is funny about that roadrunner! I also had one tapping on the glass...it woke me up from a nap a few months ago. When I went to the kitchen, he followed me there and stood outside the window watching me. When I went to the living room, he went around the house and stood there by the living room glass. He wouldnt take any food, but I didnt know what to feed him. So I ordered meal worms on amazon thinking he might come back. By mistake, I ordered too many and several large bags of meal worms arrived, a box each day for 5 days! And of course I rarely see the roadrunner now. I need to feed the mealworms to the wild birds to get them out of the house!
