Last weekend I went to a frigid second hand store to look at a desk. Chipboard. Turned around and found a huge bandsaw. My sister and I are taxing our poor 12" craftsman resawing and considering buying a new one. While waiting for my sister to come see I found this while wandering around moving to avoid hypothermia.

I didn't get it but very sentimental. When I was about 8 a neighbor refurbished one of these for me. Only a few speeds worked and they had painted it bright red. It was my childhood kitchen tool for cakes, cookies and really odd salad dressings (my typical dinner contribution).

So, did you get the mixer?

I have the glass bowl from my mother's old, old, long gone Sunbeam. It's my most precious mixing bowl. :)

I have one, still works. But I find it I can do everything quicker by hand.

I did think about it but I already have an antique kitchen aide (50s maybe) leaking oil and gathering dust on my fridge. A retiring neighbor gave me her mothers mixer years ago. I mean to have someone look at it someday. Above my head out of my line of site....
