Help Needed to locate my Clippings
Comments (2)FYI...for any member's clipping page: https://auth.gardenweb.com/members/ Just replace the "" with the GW member's username. You can see any member's clippings as long as they're "public"....See MoreMy Clippings are Gone!
Comments (4)If you saved your clippings as private, those seem to be really gone, or at least really gone as of this time. However, you can still try to save your public clippings. Go to google and type in your user name and "clippings". Within the first few entries should be clippings by "your name here". You don't click on the blue title, or the green link under that. You click on the tiny arrow next to the green link, and a "cached" box will pop up. Click on that, and you will find your cached clippings. This can be nice if you saved some that were really long and are now cut off. You can also do this to retrieve you cached exchange list too- just type in "exchange list" instead of clippings. Hope this helps :)...See MoreWhere are my clippings????

Comments (11)Camp, I would hate to see you go. And yes I hope my clippings and exchange list are restored, because I have put hours of work into these. FYI, every website out there on the net has similar terms of use regarding content as Houzz and the old Gardenweb. When you first sign up and click "Agree", you grant that entity a license to use your content in the manner they specify. In most cases, this is a perpetual, world-wide, sub-licensable license to use your content, even for profit, and they don't have to share a penny with you. You technically still own the copyright on your content, but that entity can use it as they please. This includes Facebook, Youtube, Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, Pinterest, ALL of the photo hosting websites, and even Craigslist! I don't use social media, but for those websites I use, I don't post any valuable creative content, and before posting photos I reduce the size, resolution, and quality of the photos....See Moremes111
