Everyone likes the way I make it: 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 and 1/2 pkgs. white choc. chips 1/2 tsp. good vanilla pinch of salt You can add any other flavor, nuts, marshmallows, etal to this and it turnes out SOOOOO good! Melt the chips in a double boiler until creamy, then remove from heat. Add the other ingredients and blend well. Spread the fudge in a pan whose bottom has been lined with waxed paper. Let cool overnight, cut and ENJOY!

I would like a recipe for either chocolate or maple fudge BUT I would like it to be a little bit hard when ready. Not the soft creamy type. If anyone knows a recipe please post. Thanks

Place over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Cover & boil for 3 minutes only. Uncover & boil until it spins a thread. Take off heat & let stand while beating egg whites. Add salt & vanilla to stiffly beaten whites. Pour boiled mixture slowly into egg whites & beat until just ready to lose its sheen. If nuts are used, stir them in & drop by teaspoonsful onto waxed paper.~~
