Glass 3 x 12 tile - Best grout?

I am in the process of remodeling the kitchen in a home we recently purchased. We decided to go with a bright white 3 x 12 glass subway style tile. Our initial grout choice was the TEC Power Grout in Delorian Gray which the local tile shop said would be the best choice for stain resistance (the cabinets are white and the new countertops are costal grey quartz). After testing the grout on a sample board, however, the surface of the tile was scratched by the sand component of the grout (I'm glad we tested it first!). Now we are back to the drawing board in terms of choosing the right product. Our spacing between tiles is 1/8" so I'm thinking an unsanded grout will be the best choice, but I've heard different feedback with unsanded products that end up with color inconsistency, effervesence, etc. I'm wondering if anyone out there has recently used a product that they are happy with the final outcome.
