The alternatives to the Super Bowl!

Don't forget about the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet and the Kitten Bowl on the Hallmark channel. Both begin at 12 eastern, 11 central with repeat airings all day long.

Both are very cute....we watch them before the football game.

I have seen a Kitten Bowl ad and I get fixated on those cute cats because they remind me of my little 'petunia'! I had no idea what the ad was for. lol!

They always used to do a golf "skins game" (or was it "skills challenge"?) on Superbowl Sunday, but I haven't seen anything like that in years... do they do those anymore?!

I wish I had time to watch the puppy bowl. By the time I get everything ready for the guys party, which is held here, and ready to head over to the wives party, it is almost game time.

If it's offered by a major network, it's going to be legit. But that would more than likely be a link, not a download. Actually downloading something to watch a game would be highly suspicious to me and is likely the reason why you got the virus. I would seriously research any download before doing anything like that, especially anything from an unrecognized random site. And in general you can always run any link or file downloaded through virustotal.com, which will analyze it and provide a report. Besides the major networks, here are some articles with links to sites for streaming sports. A number of those sites provide streams from Europe, etc., so the quality's not always so great. Wiziwig used to be popular but was shut down. Great comments - I'm now debating whether to install a garbage disposal or not. Thoughts on whether to have a garbage disposal at all??? Pros/Cons? Due to health reasons, I make all my meals from scratch (no processed/boxed foods, etc), & probably spend anywhere from 1-3 hours in the kitchen/day. Right now where I'm renting, I just prep on the kitchen counter throwing everything away in a small shopping bag that is on the counter, then I throw the whole bag (with garbage) into my garbage can.

Never have, never will, although I have on occasion watched the half-time. I hate the sound of sportcasters, and I hate the roar of the crowds - so annoying. Plus I don't care who wins, although if the city where I am living happens to have a team that is in it, I hope that that team loses. Nothing worse than having to hear fireworks and rioters in the streets after your city's team has won something. I have no idea who is playing this year.

Lessee...tomorrow's the Big Game. Then what? Two more weeks of rehashing? More?

I will watch football. I know a little about the game. But honestly, by the middle of February...ENOUGH ALREADY!

No party here. No football. No puppies. (I love puppies, but I don't have cable TV.) I'll be going out for bird seed and cat food (and probably more), stacking firewood, and getting ready for another 10" of snow tomorrow into Monday.

This year only reason I will kinda watch the game is to see the commercials.

We are watching the kitten bowl right now on the Hallmark channel. Lots of orange kittens this year, I love them they remind me of my sweet Garfield kitty.

Direct TV has a new channel called dog TV on 354, the minute we turned it to that channel my little dog went to attention and started watching every move, it was amazing because I have never seen her interested in the TV.
We are going to leave it on that channel when we leave the house.
It's pretty boring if you aren't a dog lol. She has been most interested in the segments called stimulation.
