One very bad winter for everyone.

Another one, hope it's alright to post 2. The trees behind my home an old farmers hedge row. I used to walk there but it's to over grown now. The odd thing about this photo is that it should have been in color, but nature turned into a black and white. The path is very long, there is a wood fence at the far end.

No snow here yet. (Knock on wood) but this is our backyard several years ago.

Its amazing how it has changed since then. The blue spruce is gone, the dogwood at the right is gone, the oak jutting into the upper left died, fell, and broke the larch that was barely visible then. Also other trees have grown up in the foreground, and in the gap in the background blocking the view of the mountains.

Emma, it's perfectly alright to post more than one, as long as the picture follows the theme of the day..... And to make it even easier, the "theme" of the day is whatever you perceive it to be. :-)

Another one from me too. A view of a sleepy little village from a hike in a valley in Switzerland.

I love the pictures today. Emma, I especially love your "black and white" hedge row shot. I can see walking down that path!

Casey, no eel or rabbit stew for me either. But I might go and have a drink just to see how it looks inside. Very cute cottage!
