Comments (6)@JudyGDesigns I have a rather large bedroom that faces due East (two regular sized windows) and a small window that faces south. I painted it BM Silver Fox and it doesn’t look purple. It is the most beautiful room and feels like you’re wrapped in cashmere. It’s the best room in my house. The other east facing bedroom (Master) is painted Pashmina and it also looks amazing. There a dressing area room off the bedroom that has a smaller north facing window and Pashmina is a little dark in there BBC although it’s all one open space. The other east facing room is a nursery/office which is painted Revere Pewter and it looks good too. My East facing LR/DR is painted BM Elmira White. Such serene colors. We have BM Ballet White in halls and stairs. The rest is painted Bleeker Beige in the West facing first floor. I don’t mind freight paint but I’m one who doesn’t love true gray. I use color in accessories so I can change them as often as I want....See MoreKitchen Cabinets Benjamin Moore Gray Cloud
Comments (19)stick w/some of the regular, neutral grays then. make sure bulbs are in the 3500-4000K temp range. Always bring home a sample, paint it on some spare wood (prime it first) and see how it looks. (or your painter should give you a sample first before committing to painting all of them) Here's Metro Gray, as requested, above: looks like a nice neutral, but leans a little on the purple end of the spectrum these 5 colors are supposed to be neutral grays: this is SW Crushed Ice, but it's a beautiful, neutral gray. see what BM color they recommend that is equal to this one....See MoreStuck between Benjamin Moore Pale Oak and Benjamin Moore Classic Gray
Comments (42)Hi - these 2 colours sit increasingly further clockwise on the Color Strategist Wheel, away from Pale Oak. They will likely apoear a a little cooler by comparison. So in your setting, they are somewhat less likely to shift quite as pinky-purple. Sometimes, just moving a few degrees can make a difference, sometimes you may have to move a whole lot further to mitigate colour shift. These are a both a touch darker (lower Value) than Pale Oak + more colourful (higher Chroma). They have the capacity to appear a little greenish where Pale Oak reads well for you. But maybe less likely to do so where Pale Oak looks a little pink/purple. If either is too dark? Then you need a colour with higher Value. If either is too colourful? Then you are looking for a colour with a lower Chroma. If these still read too pinkish? Then moving further clockwise again could help mitigate that. Viewing large paint chips or samples in your space, with your lighting will help indicate how they are likely to behave for you. #huefamilies #value #chroma...See Morebeaglesdoitbetter1
