rocker switches for undercabinet lighting okay?
Comments (5)Thanks for the feedback! This photo shows how I don't have room to expand into a 2 gang box without intruding into what will be the new backsplash space. Maybe I could expand that 1 gang box outlet that's over the countertop into a 2 gang box, put a normal switch there for the undercabinet LEDs, but wire it not off the outlet beside it, but off the existing light rotary-dimmer/switch that's 18 inches to its left? Here is a link that might be useful:...See MoreInteresting rocker switch/outlet option
Comments (3)We remodeled our 1930s house when our girls were very young. I replaced all the toggle type switches with paddles. So the girls have never known anything but the toggles. Well now that they are up and out of the house, they think the toggle type switches are the coolest thing....See More3 Way Switch not Working Properly
Comments (13)You beat me to it. :) If you had hooked the first switch up to the always hot and attached the travellers there, at the other box you would see that depending on the position of the first switch, either the red or one of the blacks would be hot. Those are your two travellers (how I think about it is that the power either travels on one or the other). The other black goes to the light. It's only hot if the switches are in one of 'ON' combinations....See MoreAnyone out there have a Waterstone modern plp with lever vs toggle?
Comments (12)@nycbluedevil_gw do you find your Waterstone faucet difficult to keep clean at all? I have this Franke faucet paired with my Franke Orca 1.0 sink in my kitchen now and I hate it! The reason I picked this particular Franke faucet is because it has minimal seams/grooves. I also liked the fact it didn't require a plate at the bottom of the faucet. However, water splashes everywhere in the sink, probably because of the angled spray. Also, the toggle spray is quite strong but if I reduce the water flow it won't spray. For our upcoming kitchen remodel I'm considering pairing a Waterstone Modern PLP faucet (lever model) with a Rachiele stainless apron sink with an integrated faucet deck and backsplash also fabricated by Rachiele. Dino Rachiele strongly recommends going with Waterstone faucets for his sinks, but I'm worried about all the many knicks, crannies and seams in the Waterstone faucet and wondering whether it will be difficult to keep the faucet dry/clean. We don't have hard water but I've noticed that when water occasionally gets between the grooves in the tops of our Dorenbracht bathroom faucets, it doesn't look great and it's difficult to dry the grooves with a towel....See MorePerseco2012
