Font Size Keeps Changing

Hello,

I am on a Dell laptop running Windows 7 Home, and I.E.11, I have Microsoft Office Outlook 2010 for email.

My font size for writing, replying for emails is Comic Sans 12. I had to reinstall my Outlook and when I redid my information for the font I entered Comic Sans 12 in all fields, I then clicked apply and started to compose an email. All was fine for a couple messages, but on about the 3rd one I noticed that the font size became at least a 14. I checked all the usual settings, but all was as I had chosen. Now what's even stranger is that when I receive a reply to my email and my message is included the size is normal (12). It only seems to be when I am compsing it.

Does anyone have an idea what may be wrong and how to correct it.

Maybe you zoomed that window one notch by accident. When you see what looks like your size 14's try the key combo Ctrl+0 --(Zero)

I am so sorry for not replying, For some reason I thought I'd be notified by email if there were any replies and when I didn't receive a notice, I just forgot,

Well, you were 100% correct. That was/is exactly what is happening. I clicked the spyglass and sure enough it said "200" so everytime it happens, and yes it still does, I just click "100" and it's back to normal.

I right click on the desktop, click on personalize, windows color, then advanced settings. You click on the area you want to change and the options will come up. If you are using Firefox, install the ad on called "no squint" and you will have an option in it. I find the whites so hard on my eyes, I like to change backgrounds to a pastel. The only thing I have been able to change is the first page in WLmail.

Hi, Genes. I don't have a scroll wheel or a mouse. Just a touchpad. I tried holding down the control key while running my finger in different directions over the touchpad - and also while hitting the right or left touchpad key - and also while hitting the directional arrow keys. Nothing changed. Any other things I can try? This also happens on google search pages. So it's a google thing. my other tabs - sites - are fine. Unfortunately that means that when I click on help from gmail - I get these teeny unreadable pages. Thanks. Lynn.

to make something show up in italics, when you are typing, put an i in between these... to make it bold, put a b in there, BEFORE the words you want in bold or italics. Like this sentence, except change the parentheses to okay?
