If you're talking about printing output, what program are you printing from ?

The way it looks on the screen. Everything has been reduced in size. My tabs, fonts, everything. I usually do the LA Times Sunday crossword puzzle but it is now so tiny, I can barely see the clues.

What operating system and browser are you using?

Is the same problem present regardless what site you're on?

What about when you're using the computer for other things besides the Internet?

Google adjusting letter size on your type /brand computer and you will find how to correct . That is how I did it , it's gonna be rather simple to do

FWIW, most browsers have the option of changing the size of the fonts used - it should be under "Preferences" in the browser menu. On Chrome it's under 'Content Settings' & there's a zoom option - also can be found in the bookmarks bar. In other browsers, you can choose the fonts & sizes more specifically.

Sometimes browsers can reset after something is installed or updated....

I've tried all of the above and nothing helps. And it's on everything not just the internet.

I'm stumped.

I tried all that too, Ken. The only thing I succeeded in doing was make my E Bay page really big. Nothing else. I've been working on this for two days.

did you check to see if the screen size setting got changed?

If in every program text and images are impacted it may just be that your screen resolution setting has been changed to a bad setting. Or perhaps one of the system wide accessibility zoom/font settings was changed. If you have Windows XP or Windows 7 you should be able to access those settings by right clicking on the desktop. Not sure about Macs, Linux, or Windows 8.

I checked the screen resolution setting and it's the same as always. I have XP if that helps.

One of the problems with the images being so smushed together is that I cannot log on to several sites. The log on and the search are close together on several sites so I end up with the search rather than the log on. Or the customer support. Or the whatever else...

Are you on a laptop, or a desktop w/ separate monitor ?

I assume you've rebooted.

What about just the plain desktop - how does that look ?

And what about when you launch something like Word . . . how does that look ?

My first thought was too large a resolution.
Have you tried actually changing the resolutions lower, then back up again ?

But since you say it's the same, I'm thinking you might need to reinstall or update your video driver, or perhaps your video card circuitry has become defective, but I'd need to know the answers to those questions.

To reset things, the VERY FIRST thing you do is hit CTRL 0. Hold CTRL down, then hit zero.

The second thing is to hold down the CTRL key and roll the mouse wheel (if you have one) back and forth.

Only then do you dig into settings. There's an enormous chance it's just that trivial. We hope!
