Mouse Poo! Help!!

My apartment is on the top floor of an old Victorian mansion, and since I don't have much cabinet space, I used the large, long cabinet under my kitchen sink to store some kitchen items and a couple of bags of food.

Well, I looked the other day, and found some of the bags torn open, and little brown pellets scattered EVERYWHERE, from one end of the cabinet to the other, all over my Tupperware lids, microfiber dish drain mat (which means it's also urine-soaked, right?), just EVERYTHING and I'm so freaked out and so upset =(

I've Googled it as much as I can, and it's not the disinfecting I'm confused about, it's the physical removal of the poop - I plan on just picking up and throwing away the items that have poop stuck all over them, but how do I safely remove the poo that's left? One site says to not vacuum (ew), one says to not sweep it into a dustbin -- what do I do?!??
