Comments (2)Why not a marble counter? I have marble floors in my bathroom and a marble counter that complements the floor tile. I also used remnants from the slab for the shower curb and bench....See MoreBathroom countertops with wall-mounted faucets

Comments (10)@morz8 - Washington Coast And even the most careful stuff can still go awry. My regular cleaing lady had surgery so I was using my friend's cleaing lady for a few visits. I actually had her meet with my cleaning woman who went over things and I also told her that I had cleaning products to use. She was a very very diligent cleaner but perhaps too diligent I have a copper sink with a living patina and she started scrubbing it to make it shiny. Luckily she didn't have time to do the whole surface and since it is a living finish it got back to its beauitful patina in a few weeks. She also sneaked in her own cleaning products LOL. I don't think I have spotted any damage but I am not going around inspecting. If there are problems I would just as soon not notice them :-)...See Morehelp with my bathroom countertops, please!
Comments (4)I would put in a solid white countertop to match the cabinetry. I think you have enough lovely drama with your shower and floor tiling. A few years ago, we renovated all our bathrooms. I chose Thassos Pental White Quartz for my laundry / bathroom’s gray vanity. We purchased this remnant quartz from a local stone quarry. It does not chip, scratch or stain. Cleans up easy with dishsoap and water. Best of luck on your journey!...See MoreGracie
