**** Spring 2013 East Tennessee Plant Swap ****
Comments (19)The polite way would be to wait until a few minutes after swapping has officially began and at least a few people, with plants to trade, have made their trades. In the mean time, you could look around and see what people have. Then, come to my table (and I'm sure many others would say the same thing), and say "wow, that sure is a neat plant". Upon hearing that, I will accost you with a barrage of offers for you to take plant home! I mean, I will ask you if you'd like to take a plant, or two, or five home with you. Seriously, if you come with a friendly demeanor and don't just start grabbing things (that has happened, but is VERY unusual), people will be trying to give you all kinds of neat plants....See MoreThe Spring 2011 East Tennessee Plant Swap is Tomorrow!!!

Comments (3)I have so many wonderful things in my yard and front garden that have come from the East Tennessee Plant Swap...red buckeye tree, wax myrtle, New Dawn rose, Mrs. Dudley Cross rose, Iris pallida, several varieties of bearded iris, pink rain lilies, Ostrich fern, red chokeberry, kerria, heirloom glads, bluestar, Festiva Maxima peony, balloon flowers, Mary Gregory aster, heirloom mints, succulents...the list goes on and on! This doesn't even include the vegetable starts, garden tools, a Christmas Cactus and other houseplants, and gardening books I've gotten over the years. And most important to me are the delightful friends I've made at the ETPS - generous-spirited, interesting people with whom I share a love of plants. Please join us this year for the Spring Swap - it is a relaxed, fun event and all are welcome. See you there!!...See More**** Spring 2019 East Tennessee Plant Swap ****
Comments (4)If you have an idea of what you will be bringing to the swap, or, if you are looking for anything in particular, consider posting your "HAVE" or "WANT" list on the plantswap forum: www.easttnplantswap.com/forum (If you are not already signed up, you'll have to do that first and wait to be approved. Right now the approval process is manual and make take a day or two, because of spam and bots that occasionally try to join.)...See MorePmb2005
