I realize I'm like a year to late but would love to get some brugmansia cuttings as Im completely obsessed I will gladly pay postage if you or anyone you know has some to spare

Well I'm glad I am not the only crazy plant lady out smelling my brugs at night! Sometimes I cringe when I have to turn on the porch light yet again, so I don't trip over anything, and probably the all the nieghbors can see me out there sniffing away :D There are many differences in my brugs' fragrance. I could definitely pick out some of them by scent but not all. I know that my NOID white has the strongest scent of all of them by far (strong lemony)My dh says, "lemon dishsoap". Daydreams has a nice sweet smell. I decided to keep my shredded white just for the nice sweet honeyish fragrance. CG has a nice strong fragrance but not lemony at all. Can't think of distinct smells for the others but they all smell nice. ~SJN

Hi Ed: I don't know if I can answer all your questions, but I will offer my experience. As a child growing up, my mother used to grow a little plant on the front balcony which she called "Sweet Geranium". This plant (I now realize) had the familiar indented leaves like other Geraniums, but it never flowered. However, when gently stroked, the leaves gave off a wonderful perfume. I have a few Geraniums in my garden which flower, but the leaves of one in particular produces a beautiful perfume when stroked. The scent remains on your hand for some time. The flowers have no scent that I am aware of. Perhaps all these scented Geraniums of which you speak carry their scent in their foliage, not their flowers. Hope someone else can more definitively answer your questions.

Well, I sent a long answer and Houz must of ate it. My iris are blooming now so I can at least let you know the colors of those that do bloom. Some have dug themselves in so deep they haven't bloomed. I have-white, light blue, dark and light pink, black, dark and light purple, yellow and a few that are speckled or streaked. See Day lily picture. I don't know which plants have which colors. I would have to wait until the end of May to know. I traded and bought about 20 more varieties that I don't have pictures of. I was wondering what colors you have?
