Thank you sweetly neverending & justgotabme for your sweet compliments on my home! That is about all we are doing lately is painting for changes, ha! I did decorate the mantle with birds, a big double fake topiary that was beautiful, moss balls & urns for a fresh Spring look then bought two big urns for the upstairs balcony console table. We have our daughter's room to redecorate soom as she is thru college & living in an apartment in the town she works in. That will by my DH's office (he works from home & travels some too) and will move office furniture out of the guestroom. Then we will have a guestroom to itself & an office upstairs. Right now he is sharing the guestroom with office........but we haven't picked out a paint color yet. The dancing green color (even though beautiful) will have to go....not his speed. Probably will end up painting the bathroom & probably end up redoing the whole upstairs.........ha! I have those beautiful blue & white checked french country drapes with fringe and yellow flower in the middle of the check from the other house & no where to put them so have thought about re-using them in the guestroom. We decided to take a breather for alittle while since my mom had one surgery , then the next week another one. Floral arranging class starts next week and we live on lake so getting things ready for Memorial day. I am thinking for the office a color like a grayed down green.....something my DH can concentrate easily around. Stay tuned! Thanks again, everyone!

I've ordered a houseful of PPf's 'Ashfield' line. The woman at the plumbing supply house was a little reluctant to speak her mind at first. I said something along the lines of 'Don't see whats not to like, since they have a ceramic cartridge just like Moen and the designer brands'. She was quick to respond 'Oh no they don't: it's technically ceramic, but it's light years behind what the other national brands use. The ceramic elements and the other internals really don't compare'. But I figured 1> I can change out a faucet pretty easily, thank you, and 2> Since I'm looking at all ashfields, I can buy a couple extra cartridges here and now, store them for later and 3> she fully admits she hadn't sold many PPfs, so her info isn't exactly based on deep experience. Since no other faucet looks much like the Ashfield, I decided to risk it. It will probably be a few years before I really know whether I've chosen well...

Waterstone has absolutely no customer service skills . I have advised all of my customers to avoid this manufacturer. We are a plumbing company that builds high end custom homes. We recieved a hot water dispenser in a manufacturer sealed box, missing a few parts. I called WaterStone and they were just rude and referred me to my supplier. When my supplier called WaterStone they were still rude and told them there was no way this was their fault. I am not looking to blame anyone but need these parts to install this product. My supplier ordered the parts to solve the issue but he is talking to his show room and questioning why they are carrying a product that is so poorly supported by this manufacturer. This manufacturer has left a bad taste in a chain of peoples craw. How are they staying in business.

In order to go to Furniture Market, you either have to go with a credentialed designer or have credentials with a company that makes, sells or provides to the furniture industry. The antique shops are not so picky, so I'll get together a few names. If you want to look at furniture, try Furnitureland South in High Point, it's mind-blowing. A second strategy is waiting until some time in November and then look around for market samples. They make the samples as one offs, here in the states, so often where it would usually be made with particle board, they make it with plywood. My accountant's husband explained it to me, makes samples for furniture market.
