That's funny, Judie! Yeah, BB, and sad for those of us who are Julia Robert's cohorts! Actually, Julia is five years younger than I, so if I were an actress I'd be considered by a teenager to be not only "older" but over the hill I suppose, lol! Time to play the granny of the clan! That's another thing that was so admirable (and unusual) about Liz...she didn't hide in the shadows as she aged. No hang ups about weight, and no hang ups about wrinkles, even though she'd been considered most of her life to be one of the most beautiful women to ever grace the planet. As impeccable as her beauty was, seems she never got caught up in it, or defined herself by it. Seemed to always know who she *really* was and to value it, unlike so many tragic celebrity beauties. Marilyn Monroe and Brigitte Bardot come to mind.

June, I read that Ms. George wanted What Came Before He Shot Her to be a part of With No One as Witness, but her publisher wouldn't let her combine them. Both of those books are quite long. We would all have had to wait for Kindle if they had been issued as one book!

Alisande, I loved the Lt. Luis Mendoza series...think I read all 10 or 11 of them. ☺You can find the titles at Good Reads plus a comprehensive list of Dell Shannon's other publications. Then go used book shopping on the web. I've had good luck finding them at Better World of Books, Thrift Books and Central Bookstore. I envy you growing up in a home with such fun parents. ☺

I found "The Historian" so riveting that I read it twice. I may well read it a third time, since I own it. Roxanna, I'd like to know what you thought of it if you do read it.
