This month we will be discussing another Louis de Benieres book. Those of you who read and loved Birds Without Wings will no doubt be interested here, since the narrator is also a character of the earlier book. But even if you didn't read that, no worries. This is a book that easily pulls you in with its most excellent writing, and well rounded characters.
I have many comments to make, but I'll hold off until we get underway a bit. So - who's read it, and what did you think?
