I'm quite pleased with this winner, though I personally thought the shortlist wasn't that great. Too many LOOOONG books which badly lost their way.
But I'd recommend this one as an entertaining and thought-provoking read; it certainly gives you a view of modern India which you don't normally see. A good Booker Prize winner, but not a great one.
