Writers who have annoying styles.

I love mysteries, especially if they contain forensics. However, some writers really annoy me because:

Their books read like a road map. Grafton, Reichs, and Cornwell fill pages with descriptions of the streets they travel so I often think I am reading Map Quest! Also, I think authors who include many sentences in a foreign language, especially when the content isn't translated, are simply being snobs. The only exception is the use of Spanish because I had two years of high school Spanish and delight in being able to get the gist of the words --most of the time. Does this bother anyone else?
