Do you often reread books?

I guess I'm always somewhat amazed when I see posts here of people reading this or that and also rereading something. I would never make a dent in the stack waiting for me if I reread alot. (I think the only one I have reread is "84 Charing Cross Road"--a shortie anyway--but also, I tend to pick up mysteries, so that's not a genre made for reading twice, once you know whodunit.)

What are some of the circumstances that lead you back to a book? Is it a book you were forced to read as a child, like "Jane Eyre," perhaps, that you just were not intellectually prepared for at the time? Or maybe you just finished a really unsatisfying book and wanted to get that "ickiness" out of your mind? LOL!

Really! I'm quite interested in this!
