Giving the plant direct sun should allow proper growth, but limiting nitrogen may help as well (especially if you can't give it enough light). As for phosphorous, most plants use N-P-K in approximately a 3:1:2 ratio. That means P should be the smallest number, yet most fertilizers use something more like a 10-10-10 or 10-15-10 formulation which provides far more P than most plants can use. When growing cuttings from succulents you should always allow the cutting to callous over for at least a day, and as long as several weeks for large wounds. The cut needs to be completely dry and sealed off in order to prevent rot. Pieces that fall off shouldn't have large wounds, but may still need a few days to callous over properly. A porous soil also goes a long way in preventing rot in cuttings. It looks like it could be a very nice plant if you cut off the skinny growth and get it growing nice and fat again. Maow, you should be able to load one photo per post using the Chrome browser with no issues. Perhaps GW was having an issue earlier? You can also load the pics directly from your phone or iPad directly into a post using the same functionality as you would with a computer. Simply browse for the picture you want to post. An app I use on my iPhone and iPad called PhotoGrid would allow you to add text directly to a photo very easily. You can adjust the font, size and color of the text quite easily within the app. You can also add borders to your photos and do a lot of other editing, including creating collages with multiple pictures. So I have a majesty palm and the other day noticed that there were small mushrooms growing, a few millipedes, and what looked like tiny mites. I ended up repotting, using neem oil, fresh soil and with a little bit of dichotomous earth. I’m keeping an eye on things and today noticed there were still two little types of crawlies in the soil. I saw tiny white bugs crawling very quickly in the soil. I also saw bugs that looked like little tiny ants. I don’t see anything on the leaves. I’m attaching pictures of the ant like bugs below. does anybody know what these are? i don’t have pictures of the tiny white mites because they were so small. But maybe there are some ideas about this too? Any solutions?
