I love both the american and the caribbean bronze. They were in my top three contenders with the slight edge going to the american. I finally chose the american bronze as i wanted the finish to not patina. We have hard water and it really does a number on fixtures, since the antique and caribbean bronze are living finishes we chose the american for the protective clear coat finish. I don't know of hardware that would match but I imagine if you find a nicely curved faucet that would help. Herbeau makes a lovely faucet also but I think they are pretty much in the same price range as a Waterstone. If you order from Rachiele he has a sale going on with free overnight shipping.

@ELIZABETH ZALIAGIRIS Your sprayers a limited by your household water pressure that should be between 40 and 60 pounds per square inch (psi). Have you had it checked? Or the problem may be the buildup of minerals in the spray wand. Have you cleaned it recently.? If the water pressure is within limits and the wand is free of mineral deposits, then I suggest you telephone Waterstone customer service for help with the problem. There may be a limited built into the wand that can be removed to increase water pressure -- although a limited would be unusual. I doubt very seriously that the sink stoppers have anything to do with your faucet. Depending on their age, the rubber gasket on the stopper may be worn. it may be time to replace the basket drain stopper, Since they are all one standard size, you can probably order from you favorite online shopping site.

I have spent the last 15 years in a kitchen with 4 drawers (yes, only 4) no wider than 9", a wobbly wall mounted sink and a cooktop that can't fit 2 saute pans at the same time. This is my forever kitchen and only things that make me happy every time I use them are going into it. I have served my time, and now I am getting paroled.

Have any of you seen the Waterstone PLP vs a similar California Faucets pullldown with similar squeeze sprayer in action? I’m concerned about splashing. I’m getting Rachiele sinks, and will likely go with some Waterstone, but thought I could save a little (not much, know) with a California Faucets La Spezia model or other by them in case our mudroom. I want to minimize faucet splashing while washing our small dog (Joke, I know, as I cannot easily modify his splashing!). I have a Delta Trinsic Pulldown in our Laundry Room—it’s good quality, but the sprayer splashes much more than I prefer. Not as concerned up there. Cannot find a plumbed California Faucets model in the Midwest. Maybe I should pay my two kids who live in San Diego to go on a field trip test, as I bet they could find a working model in their area.
