Garden books--reading for pleasure

Do any of you read garden books for pleasure, literary or just daydreaming about gardens? Or enjoying other people's descriptions of their own gardens? This is one of my favorite types of reading. I like Syney Eddison's writing about her garden in Connecticut, for instance, and its evolution--and her own, through gardening.

My favorite garden writer of all time, though, is Eleanour Sinclair Rohde, an English woman who wrote from the 30s into the 40s. Learned and literate, she wrote for gardeners and non-gardeners alike. Her books are full of fascinating stories, well told.
