epitaph for a peach

I just finished reading "epitaph for a peach" by David Masomuto for our library book club discussion. It is a really good book. I recommend it. It is about a farmer in California who makes a change on his family from from the traditional herbicide, pesticide, corporate way of farming to organic. A book like this could be boring but his writing is really like beautiful prose and makes a nice read. It also broaden my mind on how farming is done in this country, the whys and wherefore's and how city folk like me can make the wrong assumptions.
