Looking for more immigrant books

I am currently in a big craze of reading what I call "immigrant lit" which is lit where people move from one country to another and explore the challenges inherent in doing so, esp when there is cross-cultural problems. Right now, I am enmeshed in Indian-American lit (i.e. India-Indian, not Native American Indian just to clarify), but I am interested in other people from other places. And it doesn't have to be a move to the US - it could a move from one country to some place else.

I don't really want to read the Peter Mayle/expat books - had enough of those - but more fiction, I think, of families and relationships and how these are affected by immigration.

For example, I love Rohinton Mistry, Jhumpa Lahiri etc to give you an idea.

Any suggestions?
