Gunnera

I have a large Gunnera tinctoris in a 2 foot diameter pot with handles thank goodness because it can then go in the greenhouse for extra protection as well as what it gets from the straw lagging it has (along with G. manicta, G.magellanica, G. prorepens, G. hamiltonii).

I have burried the pot as its not at all a nice thing and detracts from the plants beauty but for some reason the side that faces away from the house looks far more attractive and has the 5 influrescence than the side i can see from the window. Its not in any shadow anywhere or affected by anything so i turned it 180 degrees (which took alot of muscle power!)

Any way question is will this affect its leaves that are now facing other way or will it now grow the same tha other side!

P.S. the side thats grown abit better is slightly out of sun by the bit ofd shadow from the other side but i wouldnt have thought enough to make it grow slightly different!?
